New standard of Refkeratometer 3 measurements are available: Ref, Kerato, and Topography

Combining refractometer, keratometer, and topography in one unit. Patients do not need to change the location for each test, so elderly patients and children can receive stress-free testing.
With one touch, the light cone appears from the measurement head, and the refractometer becomes a topographer.

Easy operation by touch alignment

The RT-7000 shortens the time the patient needs to keep their eye wide open. By auto-alignment function, an auto-alignment with 3D eye-tracking method starts instantly after touching the screen to set focus.

Kerato mode "Corneal irregular astigmatism display function" – the new approach to corneal testing

  • Corneal irregular astigmatism function installed. Measure the degree of corneal irregular astigmatism, easier than with our former keratometer.
  • When a keratometer measurement is performed, indexes such as KAI / KRI are displayed and their classification is designated as A, B, and C.
  • Check corneal irregular astigmatism at the initial consultation, before surgery or prior to prescribing contact lenses

Topography mode

  • Auto alignment with 3D eye-tracking method

By auto-alignment with 3D eye-tracking method, the testing has become easy and efficient. It mitigates examiner traits and varying proficiency levels which can lead to random measurement results.

  • Color code map

Mapping corneal refraction helps evaluate corneal shape more thoroughly. The color code map provides useful information for evaluating irregular astigmatism and keratoconus.

  • Fourier analysis map

Following Fourier analysis of the corneal shape, each color code map and values are displayed as follows:

  1. Refractive with spectacle lens in addition to the Absolute map
  2. Cannot be refracted with a regular astigmatism component or spectacle lens
  3. Asymmetry component
  4. Higher-order irregularity

Refractometer mode

  • Wide sight-fixing target

The target of sight-fixing widened to prevent interference of alignment.

  • Disable auto fogging

This mode is used for decreasing the error by fixation failure during auto fogging. Useful after applying eye drops for cancer and for measurements in elderly patients.
